Klyvant Global is a technology and engineering consultancy registered in Nigeria, with a regional office in Ghana. In this policy, Klyvant Global is the data controller for personal data described below.

This policy covers the website at klyvantglobal.com and the personal data we handle when someone contacts us, applies for a role, or engages us for professional services. It does not cover client systems we operate under contract, where the client is the controller and we act as processor under a separate agreement.

We do not collect special category data, and we ask that you do not send it. We do not use this site to collect payment details.

Personal data is used to answer enquiries, to scope and deliver engagements, to assess applications for employment, to meet legal and regulatory obligations, and to maintain the security of our own systems.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not share enquiry data with third parties for their own marketing.

Where the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 applies, we rely on the following bases: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one; legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, balanced against your rights; legal obligation; and consent, where consent is the appropriate basis and has been given.

Klyvant Global operates in Nigeria and Ghana. Some service providers may process data outside those jurisdictions. Where personal data leaves Nigeria, we rely on the transfer conditions permitted under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, which may include adequacy, appropriate contractual safeguards, or your explicit consent.

Enquiry data is retained for period to be set from the last contact, unless it becomes part of an engagement record. Engagement records are retained for the period required by contract and by applicable tax and company law. Recruitment data is retained for period to be set unless you ask us to remove it sooner, or agree we may keep it on file.

When a retention period ends, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise any of these, write to the address in section 11. We will respond within the period required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or to the Data Protection Commission in Ghana.

We apply the controls we recommend to clients. Access to personal data is limited to people who need it for a defined purpose, systems are patched and supported, backups are taken and periodically restored to verify they work, and access is reviewed.

No system is without risk. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify the relevant authority and, where required, you, within the timeframes set by applicable law.

This site uses only what is necessary to make it function, together with confirm analytics in use, if any. If analytics are enabled, the provider, the data collected, and the retention period will be named here, and a consent mechanism will be presented before any non-essential cookie is set.
